The near-infrared spec­tro­sco­py solu­ti­on from tri­na­miX is cha­rac­te­ri­zed by a uni­que com­bi­na­ti­on of por­ta­ble hard­ware, data ana­ly­sis and mate­ri­al know-how. The main pro­duct features:

1. Por­ta­ble hard­ware: The solu­ti­on includes a han­dy NIR spec­tro­me­ter that is bare­ly lar­ger than a cell pho­ne. This por­ta­ble device enables extre­me­ly accu­ra­te mate­ri­al deter­mi­na­ti­on any­whe­re and at any time.
2. Data ana­ly­sis in the cloud: In addi­ti­on to the spec­tro­me­ter, tri­na­miX also offers data ana­ly­sis (che­mo­me­trics) in the cloud. The indi­vi­du­al spec­tra of the pla­s­tics are stored and com­pared with the mea­su­re­ment data from the spec­tro­me­ter in a mat­ter of seconds. The user recei­ves infor­ma­ti­on about the iden­ti­fied pla­s­tic direct­ly in the app.
3. Mobi­le app: The accom­pany­ing app dis­plays the results and recom­men­da­ti­ons for action. It enables quick ad hoc ana­ly­sis as well as fur­ther eva­lua­tions and downloads.
4. Ver­sa­ti­le appli­ca­ti­on: With the tri­na­miX NIR spec­tro­sco­py solu­ti­on, all com­mon pla­s­tics can be iden­ti­fied in seconds. This ran­ges from clas­sic poly­o­lef­ins such as PE, PP and PVC to engi­nee­ring pla­s­tics such as ABS or PA.

The com­bi­na­ti­on of por­ta­ble hard­ware, data ana­ly­sis and mate­ri­al exper­ti­se makes this solu­ti­on a valuable tool for the pure sepa­ra­ti­on of pla­s­tics and thus for the recy­cling and reusa­bi­li­ty of com­pon­ents and pack­a­ging materials.
