1350 – 2150 nm NIR Spectral Range

Extends into the mid-NIR region, capturing stronger combination bands of O–H, C–H, and N–H bonds. Enables more detailed differentiation of organic materials and improved sensitivity for complex mixtures compared to shorter ranges.

Typical applications

  • Moisture and composition analysis
  • Soil and biomass analysis
  • Polymer identification
  • Chemical composition screening

When to choose this range

  • When higher material differentiation is required
  • For mixed or complex organic samples
  • When 900–1700 nm lacks resolution
  • For lab-to-field transferable models
